
BIOGRAPHY
I set my intentions to be a leader for others, specifically those in the at-risk community, through the therapeutic alliance that allows me to guide them toward holistic health and homeostasis. As a therapist, I educate clients on therapeutic skills and techniques that bring internal change and hope for effective resolution of their circumstances; in turn, they become their own change agents in their personal lives as well as in the lives of others.

I have experience working with individuals presenting with anxiety, depression, women’s issues, workplace stress, adjustment disorders, anger-related concerns, trauma, LGBTQ+ concerns, infidelity and relational challenges, as well as couples and family dynamics. I also support clients managing chronic pain and illness, ADHD, and related concerns.

I pride myself on working to help achieve holistic health because achieving homeostasis requires balance in the mind, body, and spirit. We simply start by creating an environment where confidentiality is held in the highest regard; patience and courage are provided for each individual’s journey/process; and implicit biases are actively addressed within the therapeutic process.

I deem it important to help create insight, challenge thought patterns/schemas, and provide encouragement to help you nourish a healthy and helpful perspective that supports you in living the life you desire. Therapeutic approaches utilized include, but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Family Structural Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
